• Question: what was your dream job when you were younger?

      when I was 5 I wanted to become an astronaut, then at arond 12 yo I wanted to become a chef and aftrewards the idea of becoming a scientists just stuck on my head!

      When I was young I really wanted to be a backing dancer in a west end show! I loved to dance and I loved music and I had seen a few shows and thought it looked like to much fun. Being a scientist seem pretty far from the glitz and glam of that…switched the high heels and amazing costumes for some trainers and a lab coat! But, I wouldn’t change it!

      I always want to be a scientist of some sort… I wasn’t sure what type of scientist at that age but that crystallized as I went through high school and finally to university.

      When i was child i wanted to be a paediatrician (children’s doctor) as I used to see them often. When i grew up I wanted to study abroad and i didn’t know how. My brother-in-law is a scientist and he encouraged me to take science; i followed his advice and I took chemistry (my favourite subject) to build my career.
