      Chemical Physics lies at the border of chemistry and physics. I usually describe it in terms of trying to apply principles of physics using mathematical tool and physical measurements to understanding the behaviour of chemical substances at the atomic and molecular scale rather than looking at macroscopic, bulk properties.
