      Last year I got to go to Slovenia with my work on a conference. It was a really interesting place to visit, I had no idea what it was going to be like but Ljubljana (try saying that one!? I had no clue), the capital city, was really beautiful!

      I was in Tromso, Norway last week for a scientific meeting and I aboslutely loved it! I saw the Northern Lights dancing for the first time in my life!

      I’ve been very lucky and traveled quite a lot. Seattle, San Francisco and Chicago are among my favourite places in the USA that I’ve been to. Mumbai, Chennai and Kolkata were absolutely fascinating!

      The most beautiful country I visited is Japan. I had a conference at Sendai, Japan. After conference I visited Tokyo, Kyoto, Osaka. Japan has beautiful landscape with active volcano.

      Currently I am responding to your answer from St Petersburg, Russia. I came last Saturday to Novosibirsk state university for a conference.

      I visited nearly 30 countries in last ten years. Around 15 countries were work related.

      I was never abroad until 2009. It was only possible for doing research in chemistry.
