I had to take GRE and TOEFL (two english/math test) for America. Yes, it was challenging; but I was planning to do PhD for long time; so I was well-prepared and it was not too difficult for me.

There were ups and downs… somethings works and other didn’t. You learn to cope with that and overall I wouldn’t say it was hard or easy getting a PhD… It’s just an experience you need to be a professional scientist.

It was, I had a bit of an adventure as my original supervisor left when I was etering my 3rd year and I had to move from Ireland to Florida to finish it. There were also plenty of good times and I think a PhD is a journey that everyone is experiencing it in a different way. You need to enjoy what you are doing and be self-motivate it to make it work

Yes, I would say that doing a PhD has been hard, but I’m enjoying it anyway!
