Question: If you loved chemistry and maths, what made you choose physics?

During my chemistry degree I did a lots of maths courses and realised that I wanted to understand aspects of chemistry at the fundamental level. By doing maths, I could understand the physics that underpins chemistry. This was more satisfying than simple making new molecules without really understanding them.
