Oh, this is too difficult to answer! We don’t know each other so I don’t know everyone’s skills and where we would all be best placed. To build a successful team and therefor a successful project we would all have to meet and discuss it. I’m confident we could achieve something epic though if the opportunity arose!

What an interesting question! Unfortunately I don’t have the answer as I’m meeting the rest of the scientists for the first time. Maybe since we are all involved in this public engagement activity, our project could be related to communicating science

Well, not to be too cheeky, but this chat and answering questions is the first project we’ve ever worked on together, and I think we’re doing a great job! We all work in different subject areas but the one thing we all have in common is our experience and enthusiasm for talking to the public and to students about science. Our team leaders would be the wonderful mods at I’m A Scientist who work hard to make sure the chats run on time!

We have a fantastic team; one astrochemist, one crystallographer, one makes new antibiotics, one does drug discovery, one works with sunlight, one makes gold nanoparticles.
A dream project:
Astrochemist will find out a place outside earth where we all can go to treat aliens; We will make new antibiotics and drugs; and then find the structure using X-ray; Sunlight can be used to clean water where gold nanoparticles can be dispersed; then gold nanoparticles can be used for drug delivery to aliens.How do you like project? 🙂 Do you also want to take part with us?
