      Yes.. We plan experiments by balancing the equation.
      For example I synthesized a new compound LiBSi2 using the equation: LiB + 2Si = LiBSi2

      Yes! That’s often how I plan my experiments and work out what mass of each chemical I need to add to the reaction.
