University of Edinburgh is a great place to do study/research. University of Edinburgh also has long standing collaborations with various industries in and outside Scotland across UK. Therefore, after you finish your study with good grades/publications, it is a high possibility that you will be offered a good job. There are also public engagement activities (like this one) that enables us connecting to schools, teachers and students. I personally believe that all these opportunities are really helpful for me to have multiple career path options. To my knowledge, the University of Edinburgh has many programmes to support the way into university of pupils despite their background. If you’re thinking about studying chemistry (I hope you do!) would strongly advise you to contact our recruitment, outreach, or widening participation team for more information.
Sweden is a wonderful country, and Stockholm University was also a great place to study; but I had the language barrier; so could not participate in any other activities; If you do not mind to learn a new language, Sweden is a good place to work as well.
Arizona state University is international. It is extremely hot in summer. Job opportunities are there if you study chemistry with material science background. I do not know about other jobs, but there must be many.
