The Molecule Zone student winner is…

Kate, congratulations!

During every event we ask the scientists and moderators to nominate their top student — one who’s made the most of the event, shown enthusiasm and asked some really great questions.

Kate from St Joseph’s College was nominated by the scientists for “asking a direct question and relevant question” to one particular scientist, and for sending “the most thought provoking questions” in their chat.

As the student winner, Kate will receive a certificate and a gift voucher.

Well done to Kate, and to everyone who took part. There were so many interesting questions, and comments, but there could only be one winner in each zone. Continue reading

Thank you from your winner – Martin

It’s been a fun couple of weeks chatting with everyone in the Molecule Zone. Fun… but hard work too! I didn’t expect to win as I didn’t make all the sessions due to the many other things I had to do over the last two weeks. So I’m surprised! Very surprised! Thanks to all of the students who voted for me. Hopefully some of the enthusiasm that all of the participants showed will rub off on you and we might see you look to pursuing science and engineering as a career in a few years’ time. Don’t be afraid to be geeky… it can be very rewarding and lots of fun!
